FS: Eight rare, early auto racing photos taken at the GB Elimination Trials held on the Isle of Man for the 1904 Gordon Bennett Cup. The photos are of drivers in and out of their cars, including Charles Jarrott (#12), Clifford Earp (#6), and Sidney Girling (#10).
The photos are on two separate album boards, and each photo measures about 3" x 4" in size. The album boards are 9-1/2" x 11" each.
The photos were mounted (pasted) on album board back in the day, and messily at that. Three of the photos (all on the page with Jarrott's #12 car) have damage from spots of lifted emulsion that has been pasted back into place. The lower right photo has significant damage with a spot of missing image/emulsion. Please see scans below. I have tried to point out the areas of damage as best as I can and have priced accordingly.
Overall condition of the album boards is fair. Some toning and age spots, and a bit of curling at the edges. The backs of the album pages are blank except for one lone photo of a family gathering.
