Original! Just passed the 100 year mark a couple weeks ago.

This is the only BOLD headlined Chicago Newspaper I've seen calling them the "BLACK SOX". Usually you will see Sox or White Sox.

And I've been watching for 20 some years.

Also, nice that it's from a Chicago newspaper and not the Des Moines Times or San Francisco Examiner. Collectors prefer the home town newspaper.

There is some creasing as seen in the pix. I do not possess an iron, but I've seen some YouTube videos where they take old newspapers & paper into a bathroom, steam from the shower, and then take an iron to the (covered) damp newspaper and that minimizes the creases. This might be a candidate for that if you were thinking about framing.

But sure a rare & historic item regardless.
