Churchill Leather Football Helmet?
Guys............I picked up this early (1920's?) leather football helmet at the end of May at an antique show. There is a manufacturer stamping in the leather, but it's hard to completely read all the words. 'Churchill' and 'trade mark' are easily readable through the middle of the circle logo, and what looks like the words 'Athletic Goods' may be across the top of the logo. The bottom stamped letters start with 'Gale...' and then it's hard to make out. Under the circle logo is 'Made...'.
Has anyone heard of this manufacturer, as there's really nothing online? Thanks in advance for your help........Matt
