Make no mistake, the guys over at Candy Digital, (Rubin, Novogratz, Vanderchuck), are making a full court press to build a NFT market and have partnered with some heavy hitters like MLB in order to convince the world these things have value. They're a smart, savvy, marketing firm with a ton of dough behind them. Slick is a term my dad used to use.
The only question is: will folks buy into it? They will as long as money can be made and these guys can keep this market liquid enough. It smells of the "greater fool theory" to me so I'll pass. Give me a 1925 Exhibits Gehrig over this any day.
