Hi all,
I primarily collect 1950s-1960s cards but haven’t had much in the way of pickups for the last few years. Whenever I had anything I needed in a holder (I.e., I wanted to make sure my wife knew something was a rare variation rather than just a beat up common), I’d send it to PSA. Recently got a great modern card from a fellow board member (low Chipper Jones Desert Shield card) and found what looks like a mint Derek Jeter rookie in my childhood collection. PSA seems to be temporarily out of business. My question is, are people holding off on grading cards like this or sending them to a different company? For the Chipper Jones, I really just want it encapsulated for protection and for the Jeter (not the valuable SP) I am curious about the grade and also just want to protect it. Thank you, Chris |
