Default Polar bear......

Rob

You and I appear to agree on most things regarding White-bordered Tobacco cards, but this topic here sounds like revisionist "mumbo-jumbo".
I just do not understand where you are coming from. The T206 Monster is complicated enough, however I believe most of us have pretty good
understanding of it.

At least 250 subjects are confirmed with the POLAR BEAR back. They include T206's printed in the 350-only, 350/460 and 460-only Series.
The checklist is listed below with respect to each series. The timeline of the POLAR BEAR print runs is circa early Summer to late Winter 1910.
By early Spring 1911, T206 production ended. Proof of this is provided by American Lithographic ledgers. Then in 1911, the Gold-bordered era
print runs started....T80's, T205's, etc.
