It's a shame that MLB waited so long to recognize the Negro Leagues.
Team 'Owners' are, once again, able to slip off the responsibility of providing any sort of pension to all those players by delaying this distinction as long as they did. Not that current players share enough either. As much as salaries have gone up in the last few decades, they should find more generosity in their souls for those who came before. Easy folks, this is just my opinion. .
