Finally can post again on this thread. First vintage pickups in a while. I've never been into the graded thing and never owned anything graded (have never subbed either). But decided as I get older that vintage graded is kind of more stable than newer, modern stuff. So diving into it.
Bought 3 PSA cards off Facebook earlier this week, and they should be here tomorrow. Will post those when I get them. But I also visited Bankston's in Waco yesterday. Great store and great owner. Brent told me he had some graded boxes in the back, so he went and grabbed them to let me look through them. Glad I did. Decided to buy these 2 cards. The new cornerstone of my entire PC. My most expensive card.  Also a nice RC of a non-HOFer, although this guy has a good case to be in there.  Also picked up a raw copy of one of my all time favorite cards (it was the first vintage card I ever saw back in 1992)
