Being a kid and very much a baseball fan in the 70's, Seaver was one of the top cards to pull from a pack.
I think the thing I remember about him the most is how low he got on his delivery. I remember him having clay marks on his right knee as it scrapped the mound. As a pitcher in little league, I would try to copy him. But I could never get that low. Last edited by xplainer; 09-03-2020 at 08:35 AM. |
