I've had this 1925 OAL ball for a few years. The signatures have always been next to impossible to make out, but I decided to try to crack it recently. After going through AL rosters for the year, I realized that the second signature up from the bottom was Harry Hooper. That then led me to conclude that the one below Hooper's is most likely Ed Walsh.
It's obviously hard to tell, but would others agree with those conclusions? I also believe that the name on the top of the second photo is Bibb Falk (with only the Fa visible). Any guesses as to who's below Falk? Earl Sheely appears on a different panel. Many thanks in advance! Last edited by ngrow9; 08-17-2020 at 09:00 PM. |
