also I would suggest if you have newspapers.com account reading the reports from spring training to get a better ST roster as they would have players who didnt make the team as well.

Ive done a ton of research on the White Sox ST from 1916-1919 and IDed group photos and it can be challenging to find photos of the minor leaguers who may have never made the big leagues or worse...example...try to find a photo of Gwynn Williams who trained with the White Sox in 1918 and 1919 who was apparently a local teenager (18-19yo) possibly serving in the Army stationed near by....it can be more than challenging lol
