When I first saw this pamphlet and read the title, it made me laugh. Whoever thought of the verbiage did a pretty good job in my opinion. The line reads, “16 Gold Gloves…But he’s never faced you.” The 1987 advertising pamphlet put out by Ultimate Sports Fantasies, Inc. for the 2nd Annual Fantasy Baseball Camp. Cover pictures Brooks’ 1962 Topps #45 card. Day 164 Pamphlet 1987 Ultimate Sports Fantasies, Inc..jpg The Baseball Hobby News used the 1962 Topps #45 on the cover of their April 1988 publication showing the ’62 Topps baseball card set was up 273.3% in one year (that’s a pretty substantial increase). 1998 Baseball Hobby News – April Day 164 Publication 1988 Baseball Hobby News April.jpg If Brooks is on the cover, even if it’s just his card, I pretty much collect it…
