I am not an autograph collector, but I have always thought it would be cool to own a ball signed by Babe Ruth so I periodically glance at them when they are at auction.
I am amazed by how many there are (I know he signed tons) and the condition that many of them are in. If I get one, I would be looking for something with some pretty good provenance. And would like one that looks its age. I am curious if you guys can share the types of provenance that I might be able to find - are most balls sold without any? Thanks in advance.
