Need help with T210 Player Identification!

Now that I have some time to kill, I have decided to identify which players in the T210 set were catchers.

Last night I discovered a major omission in the Baseball Reference data base with regards to Series 4 T210 players. Data for the 1910 teams in Series 4, namely, Charleston, Huntington, Montgemery, and Pt. Pleasant does not exist beyond overall team records and managers' names.

In other words, unlike data for all other T210 Series, team rosters are not found.

My guess is that this omission is a result of the fact that the teams belonged to the Virginia Valley League, which lasted for just a single year, 1910. These teams became the Mountain States League in 1911.

To complicate matters further, the Pt. Pleasant team actually moved from Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia to Gallipolis, Ohio during the 1910 season.

On a brighter note, Baseball Reference actually lists players in Series 5, Carolina Association by position below the player rosters which helps greatly.

The first player I'm looking for help to identify in Series 1 is the player listed as Shields, who is pictured with the Augusta Tourist 1910 team. He's not listed on the team's official roster. Could this be Mike Shields who played for Roanake Tigers in the Virginia League in 1911 and 1912? Unfortunately, no position is listed.
