eBay Resolution Center question

I won and paid for an auction item on October 1st. I never received the item or any communication from the seller, and I opened a case on October 17th, since which time the status in the Resolution Center has been listed as "You contacted Customer Support. Awaiting response."

My question is how long do these cases generally take?
