I started in 1965. I am sure I pulled numerous Mantles over the next five years but it wasn't a big deal at the time. Not to mention every other card through the early 70s although I'm not sure the 67 high numbers ever made it down our way.
I remember in 71 my brother and I each ordered a complete set of Topps for something like 15 bucks each.
