Hi everybody !
I just finished a Ty Cobb book wrote by his grandson Herchel. He wrote that he saw his grandfather reply to a lot of autograph request through the mail (even providing the balls and photos). This was in the late 50's. This story is quite the opposite of what I've read in other books. Apparently he never responded to any request and threw everything away. What is the truth ? Thanks !
