Default Germany Schaefer....show us some of his cards

The Prince....as he was often called because of his flashy showmanship on the field always enjoyed performing in front of his hometown crowd, and on June 24, 1906,
he turned in one of the most memorable games of his career. Schaefer was called on to pinch hit with two outs in the ninth, a runner on base, and his Tigers down by
one run. According to teammate Davy Jones in The Glory of Their Times, Germany announced to the crowd: "Ladies and gentlemen you are now looking at Herman
Schaefer, better known as Herman the Great, acknowledged by one and all to be the greatest pinch-hitter in the world. I am now going to hit the ball into the left field
bleachers. Thank you."
Facing Chicago's Doc White, Schaefer proceeded to hit the 1st pitch into the left field bleachers for a game-winning HR. Tipped his cap and said "Ladies and Gentlemen,
this concludes this afternoon's performance. I thank you for your kind attention."

Germany Schaefer was quite the character, and certainly a favorite of many BaseBall fans of that era.

So here's my question to you guys..... how does this event compare with Babe Ruth's dramatic "called shot" in the 1932 World Series ?

The 460 series T206 Schaefer was printed with 13 backs*. I'll start this show by displaying my 87 % complete run of them. Still need his CYCLE 460 and TOLSTOI cards.
I've included his 1915 T213-2 card, which incorrectly identifies him with K.C. (Federal League.) Actually, Schaefer played with Newark in 1915.

My first UZIT (acquired in Cooperstown in 1985)
. . .

* Note....I've never seen an EPDG back with Schaefer (Washington). Can any of you EPDG specialist account for this front/back combo ? My opinion says it's a No-Print.
