Yes, such a tragedy that they would ruin a piece of history like this Tolstoi Cobb...
The card doctor scraped off the bottom-left portion of the back, and somehow pressed and colored the top two corner creases + associated damage. Hopefully the purchaser gets the message, and can instigate a prompt return. If PWCC won't comply, then eBay's Buyer Protection Policy should cover it.
