What are these?

Am trying to help someone ID some cards he has. I've never seen them before and don't see anything comparable on PSA site. Based on player selection I have to assume late 1930s or early 1940s.

Other players he has include Cuccinello, Camilli, McCormick, and Clift. As Camilli is Adolf and not Dolph, am guessing pre-WW2!
