Johnny Vander Meer circa 1939 D & M glove
Well, I started off May with a bang.
 I was able to successfully cross one of the few Vandy items that I still am looking for off of my bucket list. This is a circa 1939 D & M DG20 Johnny Vander Meer model glove. It's in pretty nice shape, however I will need to have the chris-cross webbing restored since it is missing. No biggie though, because I have a great image from a 1939 sporting goods catalogue that shows how the webbing was strung. Anyway, I'm glad to finally find this bad boy.  Anyone know who could do a nice job of restringing the webbing and could make it look age appropriate? Please e-mail me if you have any ideas. Thanks!
