Buck, Lefty, Eddie, Chick, Hap, Joe, Swede, and Freddie.
The BEST Black Sox newspaper. RARE combination of their pictures and a great BOLD headline on a BIG TIME newspaper. Not the Chattanooga Times. Its got it all, although condition is an issue (but almost adds to it in my opinion), matted and framed professionally ensuring it retains its current form....preserving it. LOOKS AMAZING IN PERSON, QUITE THE CONVERSATION PIECE! I've only seen 2 (and this is one of the two) in about 20 years of watching and I watch Ebay daily and watch all major auction houses too. 27" x 31.5" Historic Newspapers from major cities with big bold sensational headlines and player photos are starting to take off in price: Babe Ruth 1914 - $2750 https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item...th-illustrated Last edited by Shoeless Moe; 01-20-2019 at 12:39 PM. |
