One of my favorite poses in the set, and a great player who is overlooked and marginalized by sabrmetrics, I think. Very cool card
What's the story with Duffy being in the set with Chicago Amer.? He last played in the majors for the Phillies in 1906, and spent 1907 and 1908 with Providence of the Eastern Association as player manager (and still hit .330). The 460 series was issued in 1911. Was Duffy trying to make a comeback and failed? EDIT: Ah, he was the manager of the White Sox. I always had his card checklisted as a player card, not as a manager.
