Still a market for junk wax...sort of!
I'm getting ready to move, so I decided it was time to thin down the many boxes of cards I take with me every time I get a new place. In my case, this meant saying goodbye to about 10,000 doubles of junk wax, mainly 1987-1991 and especially a ton of 1989-91 Upper Deck. No Griffey rookies in the bunch but otherwise a ton of HOFers and rookies.
Needing the space more than the money at this point in my life, I put the whole lot on Facebook Marketplace for free. I half wondered if there'd be any takers, but sure enough I got about 10 inquiries in the first hour. I've certainly heard people say half-jokingly that junk wax is so plentiful that you can't even give it away. What I found, however, is that you really can. Hopefully the new owner will enjoy this stuff as much as I did back in the day.
