If you are going to be selling than I think CONSIDERING authentication makes sense if, and only if, the amount you will sell the item for, at a minimum, will make back when you spent on the cert.
So, let's take the Joe D CERT fee $75 plus shipping back and forth(which is also really expensive IMO) 1)without cert it sells for $100 2) with cert it sells for at $200 then cert is worth it. 3) with cert it sells for $150 then is a waste of money. If you are going to be selling, there are many here who are not slaves to the TPAs, so you might try to post some stuff in the BST first before resorting to Ebay.
