Interesting indeed.
As Leon said, there is a huge difference in the collecting world between scarcity and value. I’ve had some cards over the years that were 1 of 5 graded and I couldn’t sell them for $250. Just wasn’t the demand for some reason. A good example is the Goudey Premium cards. All HOF players and cool to look at but never seems to be much demand for them. Same thing with photos.
