Interested in the responses here too! I used to not mind the qualifiers but now they bug the heck out of me.
What makes no sense at all is why these "qualifiers" aren't just part of the grading process when coming up with a single numerical grade like other aspects of a card's quality. Either go all the way and include subcategory grades that build up to your overall grade (like BVG) or don't give qualifiers at all. Been tempted to make up a flip for a PSA 1 that says: PSA 10 GEM MINT (MC, ST, OC, PD, OF, crease, rounded corners, paperloss, trimmed) I personally wish every grading company gave subcategories to their grades as I find these very helpful when examining a card to figure out why it got the grade it did. But I'm sure doing so takes more time and time is $$$$ in the grading game. jeff
