No disrespect whatsoever, and maybe we're all wet, but the more we look at the blow-up (thanks for that),
the less it looks like Musial. The blow-up tells us this about the batter-runner: he's not wearing a St Louis uniform. If that's indeed Musial, it would have to be a 1941 spring-training game between Rochester and the Class C Springfield Cardinals -- haven't looked for a Springfield uni, but there is what appears to be "CAR" on the runner's jersey. If it's not Musial, it's wide open as to what year and what team that is.
