Batavia Trojans with Max Lanier
I'm the team photographer for the Class-A NYPL affiliate of the Miami Marlins in Batavia, NY - oldest team in the league that formed in 1939 - and every so often someone walks in and drops off an old photo, signed ball, etc. This year noticed this on the shelves and borrowed it so could scan it and have it restored (bunch of the old type 1 photos were given out to local restaurants to hang, really need to go get them back before they end up destroyed!). Unfortunately Hal's signature is missing from the back. Makes me wonder what is hiding away in the local communities basements and attics!
