Agree. Corcoran's career was really only 5 seasons. His last 3 seasons he pitched 10, 2 and 2 games. Joss pitched 8 full seasons and a partial season of 13 games plus spring training of his tenth season when he became sick and died. It is that participation in spring training of the tenth season that was the basis for a waiver. Corcoran just wasn't good enough to get a shot at a ninth or tenth season. Lefty O'Doul is another example of a great player who just didn't last long enough to make the Hof. Longevity matters.
