Typically large lots of cards will go for a discount as the number of collectors interested in them all might be limited. Dealers often bid on these types of lots but need to keep the price at a level they can split the lot up and make $$$$.
When I was building mainstream sets, I used to love lots like these as it was a reasonably priced way to get started with a new set instead of trying to piece it together one card at a time. jeff |
