Nice looking bat
You should weigh it and let us know the results.
Over at the MEARS Authentication site, they have records of 2 Ruth TA54 bats and 2 Ruth TA55 bats. You should take a look at the bats on that site. Does the knob appear to be finished, like the barrel of the bat? or is it unfinished? If I understand correctly, an unfinished knob with some rasp marks is what MEARS calls "hand turned."
