Vandy the Photographer, Pete and Spoke
I recently picked up this cool original photo from the 1941 season.
It features Johnny Vander Meer photographing HOF greats Grover "Pete" Alexander and Tris Speaker on the field before a game that included an Old Timers celebration of sorts. The photo measures about 7 1/2" X 8". BTW, I'm uncertain where the photo was actually taken. If anyone recognizes the stadium I would appreciate you letting me know. Thanks!
