It is really great to read so many nice things about Bob. It seems he touched a lot of people. I never met Bob, but I wish I would have taken a minute to thank him for Baseball Cards Magazine. I think I had most of the issues from 1984 to around 1987. I still have a few. I always thought it was cool that it was published in Wisconsin - my home state. I found out later that Bob was raised and lived in Wisconsin...even cooler. I remember more recently reading in his blog that as Bob would find stashes of his early repli-cards (the ones which he inserted into BBC Magazine) he would give them away for free to anyone who wanted them. I thought that was very nice of him.
