Bob Lemke
In the early 1980's, I wrote several articles on Bowman BB and FB cards (1948 - 1953 sets) published in SCD and also Bob Lemke's Baseball Cards Magazine.
Bob was the best editor a guy could have. He had a way of encouraging you which made the task of writing very easy. I still have a set of beautiful 1953 Bowman cards which Bob originally put together. In 1985, we did a cash/trade deal (his 1953 Bowmans for my 1952 Topps cards).
