I wouldn't. I'd do something else if I were looking to invest. An I spend a fair amount on baseball cards. In the long run I am hoping just to break even. The enjoyment of the hobby is a considerable dividend.

For me, I would probably take an ownership position in some small local companies, but I have the contacts to do that. There are folks out there with skills and ability to start profitable small ventures that need the seed money.

I think we will not see dramatic card increases over the next couple of decade. Of course I have thought that about the stock market since it was at $11,000...so I am often wrong.
