Default Small interesting baseball card LOT WSox Cubs Yankees Jeter promo

I have a small lot of baseball cards that, separately are not really worth listing but as a lot someone might find them interesting. I would like to get 14 dollars SHIPPED on this lot.

This lot starts with 18 cards that were issued by the Chicago White Sox on various baseball card days throughout the 1983 season. These cards were sponsored by True Value hardware stores and were issued only on Tuesday nights during the season in an attempt to create fan interest and ticket sales. The thought was that fans would purchase Tuesday night tickets each week in order to complete their sets. Since only two cards were issued to fans on each Tuesday, making a complete set was rather difficult.

Included in this lot is the true rookie card of Rookie of the Year slugger Ron Kittle (there are only a fraction of these available when compared to his mainstream rookie cards) as well as Hall of Famer Tony LaRussa and perennial favorites Greg Luzinski and Jerry Koosman.

To assemble this lot one must have attended 9 home Tuesday night games. I was fortunate to know someone who worked for the Andy Frain ushers and he got me about 3-4 cards per night but sadly, he didnt remember all the time so my set is lacking a number of the cards. I do have extras of the cards pictured so if anyone would like to trade I would be open to that as well.

The Harold Baines that is pictured has been pulled from this lot as I realized my set was lacking this card so my apologies for that.

1981 Fleer Baseball Britt Burns and Rick Dempsey "finger" variation.
Both of these cards have the rarer finger (or sometimes called hand) variation just below the team name on the front of the card. Some feel this was an employee flipping off the company and others feel this was a piece of dust on the printing plate. I feel this was deliberate as the "hand" is drawn the same way on about 10 different cards
