I've pretty much started bidding or submitting best offers on eBay exclusively when I have an eBay bucks multiplier promotion. I figure that anytime I'm interested in purchasing a "liquid" card, it's worth waiting for a promotion that gives me an effective 4-8% discount. When I do have a 4x promotion going, I'll actively look through all the auctions ending soon.
Am I alone in this habit? Also, does eBay coordinate these promotion offers? It stands to reason that if everyone has a 4x simultaneously, one would expect prices to be bid up just a little bit higher. |
