Just noticed this while looking at Carew's. There appears to be a back variation where the green border bleeds into the white background a little. Looking at current listings on ebay, it appears to be quite a bit more rare than the standard no green bleed card.
Took these pictures from current ebay listings so they may not last forever. Notice the green bleed to the left of Carew's minor league stats on the variation. It appears to be recurring as I saw several of the green bleed variations at various sources. I actually have both in my collection. Here's a normal "non green bleed" variety: ![]() and here's a "green bleed" variation: ![]() Anyone ever notice this before? Which version do you have in your collection? |
