Favourite T206 card(s) in your collection
I thought some of you T206 collectors would be interested in sharing some of your favourite cards - not so much for their monetary value but for other reasons. Maybe there's a story behind the subject or a personal story on how you were able to obtain the card, etc.
George Gibson is a member of both the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, so being from the Great White North I have always had a soft spot for this "Mooney" card. He also played a major role in having the Labatt family purchase Tecumseh Park in London, Ont. and donate it to the city. The ball park, now known as Labatt Memorial Park, is considered the "oldest continually operating baseball grounds in the world".
