Lets play WHATS IT WORTH?
So this base sold at a local auction tonight. It was supposedly stole off the field after the Red Sox won the pennant in 1967. It came with a note from the guy who bought it from the fan who ran on the field and stole it when everyone was celebrating(theres actually a youtube video where you can see the fan run onto the diamond and steal the base).
Well it ended up selling tonight for $5,200 WITHOUT 18% BP or MA tax  I asked two other collectors before the auction what they thought it was worth, ranged in the $1,500 to $2,500 So what do you guys think it's true value was?
