Sorry, that this isn't sports related.....
I originally signed up here a few weeks ago, after inheriting a family members vintage baseball card collection. But as we continue to go thru all of his belongings we continue to find some pretty cool stuff. Although my Uncle had passed away almost 25 years ago, my aunt had hung onto everything, until just recently, when she decided that everything needed to be divided amongst family members before she too...passes away. We found this, going thru his belongings, and I thought I would share for everyone to see, as well as field any suggestions/opinions on approx. value.
My Uncle always told us the story of him meeting Elvis, and getting an autograph as a kid, at some kind of a function in Texas. But we had always assumed that the autogragh, had been lost or sold/traded away at some point in time. Pretty happy that I was the one to find it.
Its a "Jailhouse Rock" Photo Folio. Approx 8x10 in size, and has 10-12 pages of black/white photos of Elvis. Very good condition, with the exception of pin holes at each corner. It is autographed on the front cover, personalized in my Uncles name, in what looks to be pencil. The booklet is copyrighted/dated 1957.
(I also have a video, of me flipping thru all of the pages..but don't know how to embed video.)
