January oddball Vander Meer pickups
I finally was able to add two neat 1939 oddball Vander Meer items to my collection:
The back panel of a 1939 Huskies Cereal that features Johnny Vander Meer on how to pitch and "develop Winning Form on the mound".  Vander Meer's "Double No-Hit" success allowed him to add some promotional endorsements in the off season including one with Huskies Cereal. A neat vintage Harvard Brewing Co. poster that features Vandy amongst other current events from the 1938 season in the east coast. These were called "Harvard Brews Picture News" and originated from Lowell, Mass. Dimensions of the poster are 19" x 23". Last edited by Scott Garner; 01-07-2016 at 02:55 PM.
