Ruth & Gehrig Autographed Cut - Opinions Needed!
I recently acquired the below cut signed by Ruth & Gehrig from a local estate auction. My dilemma now is trying to get it authenticated. According to my calculations, it would cost roughly $600 to go through PSA and almost as much for SGC - that's too much of a gamble for me to take on something I'm not 100% certain is real. That's where I'm asking for your assistance - based on my limited knowledge, I think its legitimate, but what do you all think?
It appears to be cut out of a page of a book and the signatures are in pencil. Please let me know your thoughts, and if you think its real, what do you think the value would be? If I get it authenticated I plan on selling it. Thanks!
