These generic ad notes were printed for several different teams in the era.
They were sold to local advertisers who could have their message overprinted on front and back. I did a series on them for Bank Note Reporter and Sports Collectors Digest circa 2005. There are dozens of advertisers known from many states. Most in typical circulated condition are worth $200-400, those some high-grade specimens and rare locations can bring closer to four figures.
