I love lots like this. If it was me and he didn't have any real attachment to them I would make an offer on them and just enjoy going down memory lane. Flip through them again, read the backs, put them in order by year, team or whatever. The lot probably wouldn't cost you more than $100 bucks or so and the entertainment value is greater than that. Even if you got board with them you could probably sell them here in a heartbeat for what you paid or use them in a trade flip foe what you really collect.
Every time someone approaches me with a lot like this I end up with a box full of 92 Score or 88 Topps. Have fun and recollect your youth. That's what the main drive is for most of us anyway in collecting. Keep us posted on what goes on with it. Drew
