FS: 1940 Play Ball complete set Vg/Ex+ SOLD

Hey gang:

Up f/s today is my complete 1940 Play Ball set, a strong Vg/Ex+. I spent 5 years or so putting together nearly 200 cards of the set then purchased a complete set from REA and kept all the best. Please see scans for condition, but I believe this to be a very clean and strong set. Its the cleanest and most consistent set I have put together. There is 10% of so that would fall into the Vg category b/c of corners, but there are tons of cards that are Ex or better. Asking $sold delivered on this beauty, not looking for trades or to break it up for any reason.

The Jackson is very clean, crease free and appears under graded to me (the slab is scuffed as seen in the scan, and that ding in the top border is a scanning error and not on the card itself). Its well centered which is tough to find. The DiMaggio is a solid 4 and the William appears as an under graded card as well. I believe the set is crease free minus 24, 187, 192 and 240 (Atwood) and all are just a light wrinkle and hard to see.
