In 2013, I sent a 2000 Skybox Autographics Purple Foil #d 7/50 into BGS. It came back a 7.5. There were definitely some corners and edges issues (especially the bottom left) but I thought it would come back an 8. I sold it on eBay auction no reserve for $455 late last year.
Suddenly, last month that same card pops up on PWCC's eBay auction as a PSA Gem Mint 10 for $2247? Can someone explain how in God's name this might have happened? Occam's razor says that someone broke it out of the BGS holder, altered it and sent it into PSA and PSA would have to change the grade of 10 to an Authentic or Altered if they knew about this. Do you guys agree with this line of thinking? ![]() |
