1950s Chicago White Sox Game Used Cap - Rare Spalding!
Offering a rare gamer from the 1950s White Sox. Very possibly from the famous 1959 "Go Go Sox" Season. Cap remains in great game-used condition with light honest wear and no holes/tears/other flaws. Beautiful style and embroidery, with diagonal "SOX" logo.
Cap was worn by #16, who could have been either Ted Beard, Sammy Esposito, or Mike Fornieles. This Spalding example is a rare style, with the "X" overlying the "O". The X was positioned behind the O on 1950s Wilson and McAuliffe Caps (the Chisox utilized all 3 manufacturers during this era). This Spalding style font was most prevalent during the years 1956 - 59. Classic style, and a wonderful "type cap" for any Baseball Collection.
Priced to sell, at $189 + $6.75 shipping (special net54 members price).
