I'm looking to start a blanket/silk section to my collection but wanted to tap into you guys about your thoughts on edges/trimming as well as things like stitch holes, etc on them. I see that most B18's have frayed edges and I was wondering if they originally came like that or if that is a sign that they were cut at one point since I know a lot of them made their way onto quilts, etc. I'm also at a loss on how to technically grade silks in general. Any advise would be great. Thanks in advance.
